This was the picture I was referring to in my Relax Update #12 video. I took this picture Sept 2008 the week before I started my hair journey. I still had some "length" (a little above full arm pit length) but the overall appearance of my hair did not look that great. My hair was thin to the point where you could see my scalp! I knew there was something that needed to be fixed. Looking at this picture I know my hair has come so far and Im very happy with it.
I relaxed my hair 10weeks post this time instead of at 12weeks. I just wanted to see how my hair would process using Organic Root Stimulator relaxer (in normal) this time to see if I would experience anything different from my results from relax update #11. This time it did process a littLE better but still not as straight as it used to in the past (processed BONE STRAIGHT). I currently like the extra texture in my hair. At the moment I am not sure if I will leave the underprocessed areas alone or get it corrected. I am just going try out my semi "texlaxed" texture and see how it goes.

You're hair has come along way and looks so healthy. Have you got any thoughts on trying ORS lye relaxer?
your hair is beautiful and you inspired me to start my own hair journey
I never really thought I had similar hair to yours until I saw the before picture... Currently working on my length now.
You have done a fantastic job, I am migrating to the usa soon and I now know that I can take care of my own hair. The salons are very expensive in America. I was worrying on what would happen with my hair if the good ones are too expensive for me but you have shown me enough for me to do it and retain length. You are right I do love megz lol. May you have continued success on your hair journey.
I've been using ORS Lye (normal) for nearly a year now and it never processes my hair bone straight. I texlax so it's perfect for me.
Your hair looks great.

I think it has something to do with the relaxer because the Ors never gets my hair straight whether I use lye or no lye. But i've come to love my telaxed hair it's much thicker than when I was relaxed bone straight.
I like how the ORS lye relaxer processes my hair but it burns so bad no matter how much I based my scalp. I even tried adding oil. Unfortunately I'm going to have to switch to something else to avoid damage to my scalp :(
Hi I love ur hair. I want to dye my hair red what do you think? Last year I did some bleaching to my hair and I got some breakage. I want a change that's why I wanna go red. As for hair journeys I alwz start then just stop. Any advice 4me?
Your hair has improved tremendously!
Megan....you are one of my ultimate favorites....Your hair is beautiful and you have giving me the inspiration I needed to take on my own hair journey. Thanks for sharing your journey with us.
Hey! Megan? I'm guessing! I'm happy that I came across your Youtube channel it inspires me to a hair regimen. I went shopping for hair products 'don't call me a copy-catter; but I purchased the same products I seen in your videos. My hair type is 4B which is not to far from your hair type so hopefully the same products work for me as they are working for you! Can you let me know what you do first... deep conditioning, pre-poo etc. And what are some products and such that you're using now? I'll love some feedback :)
